In 1976 NEE designed and developed their first microprocessor based motion controller, the 'Atlas'.
In the years since the performance and capabilities of NEE's controller range has increased dramatically.
We have manufactured some 10,000 machine controllers and related software packages developed for a very
wide range of applications.
In 1995 Perkin moved to the USA and founded NEE Controls Inc. to better support the growing customer
base and to continue the search for new applications and users.
Throughout their existence NEE has invested at least 30% of their manpower resources annually, into
New Product Development. Most of our development effort is focused on efficiently producing flexible,
powerful and fast executing control system firmware and software, and on developing unique control system
algorithms. The applications section of this website has examples of how some of our products are used
and of service given.
NEE's current product range offers customers unbeatable performance and flexibility for their machines
at very low cost.
NEE's design team's expertise is available to volume OEM's, we can maximise your machine productivity
and minimise your production costs.
With a history of customising their products to meet the specific and detailed needs of their customers,
NEE has achieved an excellent reputation as a motion control manufacturer used by system builders, original
equipment manufacturers and special purpose machine builders. We also offer private labeling of our
products to maintain your corporate image.

NEE's products are distributed World Wide, with product support being offered on a local basis through
agents and distributors. NEE's major current markets are the
USA and the UK with NEE's own distribution and technical support staff available
in both countries.
