The NEW AMC E Controller Benefits Production.
Seen for the first time at this show, the recently launched AMC E machine controller
has the first users reporting back increased productivity, examples quoted are between 20 to 50% and in one 3D application
an amazing 300% improvement. The AMC E control system comprises of two 'plug in' board
sets, a stepper set, and a brushed/brushless servo set.
The systems are designed for Original Equipment Manufacturers who need the features, performance, and flexibility, together
with PC compatibility, provided by the latest technology, all at low cost.
Each AMC E
controller is a two board set, an interface board and a RISC processor board. The system has an integral PLC, which is easily
configured with the supplied software. You can automatically control and monitor machine operations such as cutter control,
dispensing control, laser control, automatic part loading and unloading, and automatic tool changing. On the
AMC E controls the axes, analog, I/O and RS232 signals are optically isolated for improved
performance. Outputs signals can switch on the fly, that is can operate when the axes are in motion.
The major benefit
of the AMC E is the way it produces smooth, accurate and quiet machine operation thus giving
precise parts, prolonging tool and machine life. It gives the ability to use a wide range of part generation and machine control
software, NEE can even customise the control to suit your software. The control can be used with a wide range of motors and
motor drives. NEE can supply AMC board sets separately, or as an integrated system in an enclosure
at very competitive prices. Numerous special options are available to meet the demands of a wide range of applications.
The
AMC E board set uses the same "engine" board as the other AMC
family of controllers so what ever the application, there will be an AMC E controller to suit.
